Finance Manager

A qualified and experienced finance manager to implement new processes and controls on-site while reporting to a London based UK Finance Director. The individual will be the most senior member of the finance team on-site and will work closely with the general manager to drive the business forward.

A well known Leisure/Hospitality and Catering brand, the Group has several locations across the UK and a number of others in the USA and Europe, catering for those in the film, media, creative and fashion industries. The group is always looking to grow and has several new ventures planned for the future. As the on-site finance manager the individual will work closely with the general manager.

Description

• Implementation of financial controls and processes across the whole site
• Liaising with divisional manager
• preparing weekly reporting including variance analysis and associated commentary
• Provide day-to-day financial advice for the on-site managers
• Attending trading meetings and P&L meetings to discuss and review site performance
• Keeping track of overhead spend on-site vs budget
• Reconciling reported margins against budget and investigating any anomalies

Profile

• Solution driven Finance Manager.
• A fully qualified or part qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) accountant. Ideally with experience in the hospitality and catering sector or retail industry.
• Ideally experience with Sage Accounts package, Opera and Micros.
• The ability to work under own initiative as they will be the most senior member of the financial team on-site in Oxfordshire.
