Interim Financial Accountant

The Interim Financial Accountant will take responsibility for the preparation of Statutory accounts under FRS 101

My client is a manufacturing business within the Sheffield area.

Description

The responsibilities of the Interim Financial Accountant will include:

• Full responsibility for the preparation of statutory accounts for multiple entities
• Responsibility for reporting under FRS 101
• Managing annual and quarterly audits and be the primary contact for the external auditors
• Monthly reporting of the consolidation package
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintenance of the Company's fixed asset register
• Contributing improvements to the accounting system to increase efficiency and accuracy of reporting
• Familiarity with UK Company Law relevant to the preparation of statutory accounts in the UK
• Working knowledge of UK Corporation

Profile

Essential requirements for the Interim Financial Accountant are:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
• Technically proficient with recent experience of statutory reporting
• Recent and current working knowledge of reporting under IFRS / FRS 101
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and interpersonal skills
• Strong MS Excel skills, ideally with working knowledge of SAP

£35,000 - £45,000 (daily equivalent) depending on experience
