An experienced Credit Control Clerk is required to join a fast paced, successful FMCG organisation based in Edmonton. You will be expected to manage the end to end credit control process with confidence and competence in the distribution industry.

Client Details

The client is an independent, family-run distribution business. Founded in 1975, they now have over 140 employees and are a leader in their industry. They are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic credit controller who can hit the ground running with a proactive mindset.

Description

  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales.
  • Releasing held orders on a daily basic
  • Taking card payments
  • Handle disputed bills to bring payment within the agreed terms and where this fails negotiate repayment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity.
  • Carry out account reconciliations, cash posting and matchings.
  • Put together weekly, fortnightly and monthly direct debit runs.
  • Assisting with statement runs.
  • Cash posting and allocations.
  • Taking accounts through the legal process.

    The successful candidate will need to be able to work well under pressure and be consistent with previous experience in a Credit Control role.
