Client Details
Michael Page are pleased to be working with a well-known Not For Profit in Bristol to support the recruitment of a Financial Accountant on a three month Fixed Term Contract with option to transition from temp to perm.
Description
- Working closely with finance and operational teams to understand business drivers and the impact on the wider business, with a focus on improving the overall understanding of the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
- Preparation and management of monthly reporting
- Support the Financial Controller with ongoing improvement initiatives including continuous review of process and controls
- Management and development of one (qualified) direct report
- Assisting the line manager with statutory accounting and year end
Profile
The successful candidate must:
- Have experience in financial accounting roles
- Have an awareness or practical knowledge of IFRS
- Be personable, with strong communication and team-working skills and ability to manage
- Be able to perform in a pressurised environment
- Have experience within the Public Sector (desirable)
Job Offer
An attractive benefits package and a salary of up to £43,000.
