The Group Reporting Manager leads a small team responsible for meeting the external reporting requirements of the Group and maintaining appropriate Group-wide financial policies and procedures.

Meggitt have invested £130m on the construction of a new manufacturing and office facility at Ansty Park in Coventry. As part of this move the Group finance function will be relocating from Bournemouth to Ansty Park. Meggitt are looking to take this opportunity to develop a world-class group finance function of proud technical to build the success of the future.

Description

  • Preparation of Group consolidated interim and full year financial results
  • Manage the preparation of consolidated US GAAP information
  • Manage the statutory accounts process for UK based business units
  • Support the transition to any new accounting requirements, including the training of finance/non-finance personnel
  • Maintain the Group's Finance Policies and Procedures Manual Act as contact for business units for technical accounting guidance Liaise with the Group's external auditors
  • Profile

    • Qualified accountant with strong technical background, gained in practice, and at least 3 years PQE

    • Highly organised and capable of working to tight deadlines

    • Strong communication skills - both written and oral

    • Hands-on approach but the ability also to stand back and see the bigger picture

    • Previous experience of Group consolidation work, gained in practice and/or industry
