Management Accountant - 18 Month FTC

The Role:

A very exciting opportunity has been made available for an experienced Management Accountant to join a renowned Australian Business in the participation, preparation, co-ordination, consolidation & distribution of group revenue & expenditure, capital expenditure budgets, reviews & forecasts, the analysis and interpretation of results, and the preparation of financial and operating statistics reports to provide a basis of management planning, operating controls & performance appraisals. The role is sits within a high performing financial institution renowned for its great team culture, with the opportunity for progression and development in the role.



Responsibilities:

• Preparation & distribution of monthly expense & revenue reports for the groups business units, and providing variance analysis
• Preparation of revenue & expense forecasts
• Building & developing management reports & models to analyse financial performance
• Production of routine & adhoc financial management information
• Preparation of the monthly management and board reports, including reporting on rations, key transaction and revenue statistics & KPI's
• Calculation & analysis of various rebate schemes where applicable
• Assisting in analysis relate to projects, such as new projects undertaken or the review of existing agreements
• Contribution to the business with input to both half year & year end cycles along with annual budget & longevity plans

Key Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA Qualified
• 4 years + in a similar role in financial services
• Strong technical accounting, business partnering, project management & analytical skills within the finance industryAdvanced excel skills
• A systematic worker with strong planning and implementation skills and excellent project management
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and listening) with an ability to communicate complex and/or financial issues in an understandable manner
