You will play a central role within the Head Office team and will be responsible for financial management, planning and reporting.

Description

Regional Finance Manager (Head of Finance), based in modern offices close to public transport.

• Take overall responsibility for both financial and management accounts
• Lead the development and implementation of financial management and control systems and policies
  
• Responsible for statutory accounts and year end statutory reports
  
• Ensure all financial control systems and policies are implemented;
  
• Monitor and ensure the quality of all aspects of financial systems and controls, and make recommendations with regard to financial practice and management;
  
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts in liaison with the chief executive, committee chairmen and other budget-holders
  
• Provide financial information and complete statutory reports
  
• Prepare management accounts reports and cash flow
  
• Liaison and correspondence with the auditors for all regular audit and tax work
  
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns to HM Revenue & Customs;
  
• Responsible for regional bank accounts and submission of their quarterly accounts to
  
• Head Office
  
• Ad hoc financial analysis for the National Treasurer and other members of the Finance
  
• Committee
  

Profile

You will be a flexible individual who has a breadth of experience required for this role. Additionally you will have held Finance Manager, Head Of/ FC or FD role in the past or have experience or equivalence.

• Managed the finances of a multimillion turn over business
• Man management
• Qualified to AAT as a minimum but ideally part qualified or QBE

Job Offer

Up to £40,000 plus competitive package.
