We are seeking Collectors to assist consumers in negotiating and resolving delinquent account balances. Job Description and Responsibilities: The Collector position assists consumers with finding a common solution regarding delinquent account balances, while adhering to many US federal and state regulations as well as company policies.Collectors will also manage accounts throughout the collection process and continue open communication with consumers during this process.Heavy phone work is involved including working manually and on a dialer system. Openness to feedback and coaching from various sources while working in a fast paced goal oriented environment is also expected. Primary areas of responsibility: Achieve and exceed monthly collection targets set forth by the company while employing a high level of professionalism and adherence to all Federal, State, and company guidelines. Contact consumers regarding delinquency of debts in order to resolve past-due balances; manage these consumers from point of contact throughout the collection process until completion of the debt is resolved. Secure payment arrangements within company guidelines while also establishing rapport with the consumer and maintaining communication. Generate a large volume of calls per day through a combination of manual dialing and automated dialer work. Be adaptable, assertive, dependable and persistent with consumers while maintaining respect for their situations. Floor managers will coach and give feedback to assist and improve collection skills. Working Relationships The Collectorworks within a team that reports directly to a Floor Manager. They will also workwith other Collectors cooperatively to achieve account resolution.
