Responsible for monthly financial book closing of the subsidiaries assigned.
Ensuring financial report/statements are prepared in a timely and accurate manner, in compliance with MFRS.
Responsible for overall financial management of subsidiaries assigned, including contracts finalization, forecast and budget, cash flow, payables and receivables management, compliance with policies and procedures, financial reporting, operation, etc.
Responsible for ensuring adherence to Companies Act, Malaysia Unclaimed Monies Act and other regulations where applicable and submission of appropriate reports on a timely and accurate basis.
Provide financial advice, guidance and insights to business, including finance operation/process to facilitate business.
Ensure compliance to internal processes and policies.
Prepare, submit and file the statutory financial statements.
Liaison person with Group Tax for tax matters, including corporate tax, direct tax, transfer-pricing, etc.
Liaise with external auditors.
Provide guidance to subordinate.
Degree in Accounting / Finance and/or a qualified CPA/CA with at least 8 years relevant working experience.
Detail oriented, proactive and able to complete work on a timely basis with minimal supervision.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills and thought process to understand business and finance processes.
Experience in SAP preferred.
Proficient in MS Office applications especially in Microsoft Excel and Word.
