Responsibilities:
- Deliver of core expatriate services, including day-to-day management of the client relationship
- Review and analyze tax and accounting information on employee remuneration
- Review monthly employee income tax return
- Review monthly withholding tax returns for Representative Offices
- Prepare written correspondence on a wide range of individual tax issues impacting a company’s expatriate employees
- Conduct research relating to HR issues that have tax implications
- Participate in arrival and departure tax meetings for expatriates and inpatriates (foreign nationals)
- Review employment and social security taxes for cost projection calculations
- Coordinate compensation collection from client payroll teams globally as well as third party vendors
- Review simple and standard individual returns with multiply tax jurisdictions
- Review tax equalization calculations
- Represent client in a tax audit processPrepare draft correspondence with Indonesian Tax Authorities in relation to tax notices and/or tax audit findings or objection
- Conduct meetings with expatriate taxpayer in relation to gathering the required data to complete their returns
- Assisting in conducting GMS training sessions
- Providing coaching and (on the job) training to junior staff members
- Assisting in the preparation of publications and articles
- Willing to travel for clients’ engagements for overseas trainings
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 7 years or more of experience in expatriate or individual tax
- One or more degrees from an accredited university; MBA is an advantage
- Proficient in both oral and written English
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive and career-oriented by nature
- A team player with strong analytical ability and high motivation
- Proficient in the use of standard business software
- Preferably hold a tax consultant license
- Extensive experience in dispute resolution with the Tax Office.
