Page Personnel are working hand in hand with this global business to recruit for an assistant management accountant. This is a newly created role in a fast growing organisation, this will provide study support and a fantastic progression route. This role will be based in the Wirral.

This role would suit a progressive individual looking to find their feet within finance and really grow with a business.

Description

This Assistant Management Accountant opportunity will include the following key responsibilities;

  • Preparing monthly management accounts for 2+ businesses
  • Review profit and loss and taking full ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Daily reconciliation of the company's bank accounts
  • Preparing budget packs
  • Variance analysis
  • VAT
  • Assisting with Sales and Purchase Ledger

    • Profile

    The successful candidate will require the following:

  • Previous involvement in month end accounts
  • Previous experience in accounts assistant role ideally
  • Excellent accountancy software such as strong Excel
  • AAT Qualified or Graduate in accountancy and finance
  • Active CIMA / ACCA studies - Or keen to begin
  • Keen to progress and grow within a business
  • Able to work on own initiative
