The response in the marketplace has been strong and Lamark is continuing to lead innovation in the space.Current Position OverviewThe Corporate Controller is a critical component of Lamark's continued growth. As with any dynamic environment, the role will change as the finance department grows and as systems and processes are put in place to streamline workflow. Over the next couple of years, the corporate controller will be expected to lead the following key initiatives: Overhaul and upgrade existing accounting processes and controls – the Corporate Controller will be expected to assess the existing processes and controls and to work with the CEO to replace and/or upgrade them in accordance with industry best practices where any shortcomings or deficiencies are found. Transition to GAAP accounting – the Corporate Controller will be responsible for upgrading the accounting process to ensure that the books are closed in a timely manner, on a monthly basis, and in a GAAP compliant manner. Preparing reporting packages – the Corporate Controller will be responsible for preparing the monthly reporting package that is distributed to the CEO and Board ongoing on specific cadence. Develop business analytics – the Corporate Controller will be responsible for driving the development of business analytics that will enable decision making at the corporate level, these analyses will likely include but not be limited to: Staff utilization by business segment Profitability by business segment Contribution margin by customer Product cost accounting Supply chain expense analysis Other Specific Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Leading the annual budgeting and periodic forecast updates process and actively engage with line executives in developing budgets and annual business plans Leading and ensuring successful completion of annual audits. Managing sales and corporate tax compliance.KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Lamark seeking a process driven leader who can professionalize and standardize the finance function. The Corporate Controller will play a key role company's day–to–day execution.The Successful Candidate Must Possess A minimum of 5 years in a corporate accounting environment with an equivalent amount of experience accomplishing business objectives, setting goals, and tracking performance Experience in digital marketing, ideally with a strong understanding of the revenue cycle and best industry practices in both GAAP and management accounting, as well as up to date on current trends Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization Strong project management skills, combined with an accountable "can do" attitude in order to complete projects on time and on budget High integrity, high energy, ability to maintain strict confidentiality, and an ability to operate in a fast–paced, entrepreneurial environment Proven experience recruiting, developing and leading strong corporate finance and accounting teams Proficient in relevant software programs including MS Excepl and Intuit Quickbooks Advanced knowledge of laws, regulations, and rules governing accountingEDUCATIONThe candidate must have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's in Business Administration or Accounting preferred.
