Location; Dalata Hotel Group, South Mall, Cork

We have an exciting position for a Payroll Administrator to join our expanding Shared Service Centre in Cork City.

The role requires an experienced accounts assistant with a keen interest in payroll who is looking to develop their career in payroll. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, while being efficient and accurate. You will be an adept multi-tasker and problem solver.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support to payroll team members in process both Irish and UK payroll.
  • Supporting the payroll team lead with onboarding of further payrolls into the centre. Including assistance with changes to current payroll process which will involve an element of change management.
  • Partner with key stakeholders in collating and validating data for processing of payment in relation to payroll. Ensure payments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Reconciliation of payments processed from the payroll systems, including employee related schemes.
  • Preparation and submission of revenue returns.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to resolve any reconciliation errors.
  • Assist payroll team responding to all employee and manager payroll queries.

Key Requirements:
  • Willing to learn and develop new skills, with a view to completing IPASS course.
  • Experience in processing Irish payroll and/or UK Payroll is an advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience using Megapay or similar payroll systems would be ideal but not essential.
