POSITION : COMPLIANCE OFFICERAREA : CENTRAL DURBAN, KZNSALARY : R 450 000.00 TCTC - R 600 000.00 TCTCMAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:To ensure good governance of the organisation through compliance with applicable laws, regulations, best practice, organisational policies and code of ethics as well as proactively and systematically identifying potential events/risks by ensuring that the management of risks are within the organisation's risk tolerance level.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Completed LLB Degree or an Equivalent Degree in Risk Management / Compliance / Legal/ Governance.
  • Min. 3 years' experience in a legal, compliance or risk management environment.
  • Knowledge of King Report on Corporate Governance for South Africa.
  • Enterprise risk management concepts, frameworks and methodology.
  • Good understanding of governance practices, internal control systems and ability to monitor risk management activities / programmes (and implementation thereof).
  • Knowledge of corporate governance requirements.
  • Internal audit and assurance practices and controls.
