Audit Semi Senior

The Audit Semi Senior will act as a senior for smaller clients, reporting directly to the manager. There will be responsibility to work with larger clients, acting as an assistant for relevant audit administration and preparing accounts. You would be communicating with audit seniors in order to make recommendations to improve client’s accounting systems and controls, whilst simultaneously supervising and delegating the training of junior members within the audit team. 

 My client is looking for a pro-active team player who can work well under pressure and as a leader. Flexibility and good interpersonal and communication skills, both client-facing and over the telephone is key. A familiarity with the laws and regulations that apply to accounting and audit is also required. 

Must be studying towards ACA or ACCA qualification and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience of electronic audit programmes is desirable and experience in using CaseWare and Sage would be an advantage. 

Travel percentage for this job is 20%. 

Salary is up to £40, 000, plus benefits and pension.
