Risk Analyst

We have a number of clients who have an immediate or upcoming needs for Risk Analysts. The Risk Analysts will be working closely with senior leaders within the business to identify key risks; develop and deploy effective risk management strategies to minimise risks. The teams are experts in providing advice to operational and finance leaders to take ownership of risk management within their businesses.

Some of the key responsibilities are:

• Identifying key risk across the business and ensure these are minimised through process improvement and efficient internal controls.
• Develop and deploy effective risk management strategies.
• Assist with the refinement and implementation of risk review function.
• Analyse risk findings to enhance risk assessment, monitoring and mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with company polices.
• Assist in specific projects as and when required.

To be successful, you will need:

• CPA/CA (or equivalent) studies or completed qualification desirable
• Commercial experience in an audit (internal or external) or risk management role desirable
• High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with initiative to resolve issues as they are identified
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Proven track record of implementing practical risk management processes
• High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and a pressured environment
• Ability to travel at short notice as required
