Head of Internal Audit- Europe- Fluent German

Audit International are currently in the market to hire a Head of Internal Audit for the EMEA region for a leading German multinational company

High visibility
In this position, you will be responsible for the Group-wide provision of independent and objective audit and advisory services for this leading German company

You will have full responsibility for reporting the audit results to the management within the group as well as ensuring you a position of strategic importance to the business.

Reporting and audits.
In this role you will have full group wide responsibility planning and conducting risk based audits across the entire group.

You will also be exposed to conducting additional special project audits.

The business currently conducts a mix of financial and operational audits.

Audits perception:
Internal Audit enjoys a strong relationship within the business as a trusted business partner.

Structure of the role:
70% Strategic and 30% Hands on on day to day basis.

Team
You will have the opportunity to oversee an international team of professionals within the function and have responsibility for a global team of 8 auditors.

Function
The audit function is a well-established audit function for a leading company in Europe.

Travel:
Willingness to travel within Europe up to 15-20%.

Your profile:
Ideally you will offer a minimum of 8-11 years of professional experience in a leading multinational combined with previous consulting experience in the Big 4.

Essential aspects
It is essential that you have gained experience in an Industrial company combined with a high level of leadership and management competence.

Fluent English and German are required.
