Summary: Supports and prepares monthly financial closing process and general ledger accounting and coordinates Cost Accounting Procedures for the organization. Works closely with Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering to optimize costs and inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develops, models and manages yearly budgeting process including Overhead Rate Process, coordination of process reviews with engineering and manufacturing to ensure accuracy and upkeep of proper bills of materials and routings.

Develops and documents key accounting procedures. Establishes documentation requirements for cost accounting, inventory management and cycle counting.

Reconciles inventory accounts on a monthly basis and manages the inventory forecasting process.

New product development support, quote analysis.

Establishes and maintains a robust product line reporting package for the organization

Supports the monthly financial closing process and prepares monthly financial statements

Prepares/reviews monthly general ledger account reconciliations

Prepares/reviews daily and monthly accounting transactions including accounts payable, payroll, inventory, and journal entries

Provide necessary support to Opex and Manufacturing for daily, monthly and adhoc reporting.

Provides financial support to optimize direct labor headcount to meet the fluctuation in sales on a quarterly basis.

Good knowledge of FI/CO transactions and procedures in SAP ERP:

?? FI: General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Banks, closing activities

?? CO: Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Material Costing

Education and/or Experience

BBA in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above including cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, financial accounting, knowledge of IFRS/ GAAP, knowledge of purchasing, inventory and manufacturing practices as related to accounting

Experience in the casting and manufacturing industry, is highly desirable.

Excellent knowledge and experience of MS office such as excel, word and Power Point

SAP – OneP/ ERP experience is a plus

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Demonstrated high level analytical skills.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
