The opportunity
This is a period of unprecedented change in the tax arena with technological innovation and regulatory change resulting in a huge demand for delivery of Indirect Tax advisory services. Your key responsibilities
  • You'll lead the successful delivery of Indirect Tax engagements, taking a professional, practical and commercial approach and ensuring technical excellence
  • Advise how indirect taxes such as value added tax (VAT) or SST impact clients' supply chain and financial and accounting systems.
  • You'll support client engagements by coordinating with clients and internal team members, managing deadlines, and tracking engagement economics.
  • You'll actively contributing to the growth and development of the practice by taking operational responsibility and accountability for engagement team support and delivery.
  • Identify and address areas of risk, advise clients on the taxation implication of international trade and assist them in complying with customs regulations.

To qualify for the role you must have
  • A Bachelor's degree or professional accounting qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a professional services or professional tax organization dealing indirect tax matters

Ideally, you'll also have
  • Professional qualification in Tax
  • Hands-on experience for indirect tax technical review
