They are well-known in their industry, supplying their products to Retailers, end-users and customers through the UK and globally. They work from state of the art offices in Accrington and are continuously expanding their team due to growth, creating a new position as Management Accountant to work closely with the Financial Controller and UK finance team.

They work from state of the art offices in Accrington and are continuously expanding their team due to growth, creating a new position as Management Accountant to work closely with the Financial Controller and UK finance team.
Role:
- Producing, consolidating and reviewing monthly management accounts - P&L, Balance Sheet, cashflow etc. alongside monthly commentary
- Assisting with inputting and preparing monthly journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations P&L/variance analysis
- Preparing and consolidating monthly sales forecasts
- Producing weekly cashflow and monthly profitability reporting/commentary
- Assisting Financial Controller with production and consolidation of annual budgets
- Assisting with audit and year end preparation, liaising with banks/auditors externally
- Supporting Financial Controller with reporting, data analysis and integration projects
- Mentoring 2 staff members, ensuring month end data is accurate and timely
- Month end/payroll reconciliations and ensuring relevant submissions occur
Experience:
- CIMA/ACCA qualified ideally
- Management Accountant experience (producing full accounts)
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strong Excel experience
- Experience of data analysis and project work
- Extremely accurate, organised and forward thinking
