Job Description Knack Collective is seeking a highly organized team–player with strong attention to detail to fill the role of Financial Controller. In this role, you will be managing all aspects of finance and accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the accounting and finance field, a self–starter, and able to wear multiple hats. Required Skills & Experience 6+ year's of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related role Experience working with startups and/or integrated agencies is a big plus Strong analytical skills Proven ability to improve workflow processes in order to streamline accounting functions and operations Proven success in reducing cost across the business Strong stakeholder management skills Handling day–to–day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations Ability to assess and manage risk Preparing monthly management accounts for the CEO/COO. Helping to develop and track project and company budgets. Supporting HR administration including payroll and benefits. Supporting the annual business planning process. Overseeing the employee reimbursement processes. Monitor internal controls Managing the setup and payments of all agency contractors. Strong communication skills Performing ad–hoc and routine financial analysis and reporting. Assisting with company tax compliance & reporting. Assisting with year–end close processes including 1099 reporting. Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree is a plus.
