Financial/Management Accountant - 6 Month Contract

The Role:

A very exciting opportunity to work with a well-recognised FMCG business inside the Sydney CBD. Our client is looking for a qualified and experienced Financial/Management Accountant to take care of the Financial and Management reporting. Candidates with a contracting background will be highly favoured.

Key Duties:

• Ownership of Month, Quarter and Year End reporting
• General Ledger, Balance Sheet Reconciliations & Bank Reconciliations
• Reviewing of Cash flow statements
• Management Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting
• Senior stakeholder engagement and the ability to interact with the wider business
• Ad hoc work as required by management

• Month End coordination, including posting of revenue and expenses, accruals culminating in the delivery of results

Key Requirements:

• CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
• Big 4/ Mid-tier Chartered Accounting experience is highly desired
• Strong statutory accounting, financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and month end experience is absolutely essential
• The ability to work well under pressure while organising and prioritising their duties efficiently
• 3-5 years of Financial and Management Accounting experience is very highly favoured
• Great presentation, verbal and written communication
• Hands on worker
• Advanced in Excel
