An established accounting practice in Kimberley has a position for a qualified Accountant to supervise the general processing of accounting data. Full time, permanent position

Job Responsibilities:

· Supervise and lead a team in the routine processing of accounts for various clients

· Liaise with and assist clients on a daily basis in terms of accounting/ financial information and processes

· Ad-hoc accounting work as required

· Meet daily, monthly and yearly accounting/ financial deadlines

Job Requirements:
  • Matric or equivalent qualification
  • BCom of BTech degree in Accounting
  • Code B driver's licence
  • 5 years relevant experience at an accounting practice preferably in a supervisory position
  • Excellent knowledge of tax processes
  • Good business acumen and communication skills - written and verbal
  • Ability to manage and lead a team
  • Professional and neat in appearance
  • Organized, thorough, accurate and deadline driven
  • Willing to work extra hours if required to meet deadlines
  • Able to work independently and without constant supervision and direction from management
  • Able to work in harmony as part of a team
  • Confidentiality is an absolute must as this position requires working with very sensitive information.
