- Ensuring that policies and amendments are issued without error within 2 days.
- Checking all documentation to ensure correctness before processing.
- Quotations and Rating.
- Risk Management experience.
- Processing of new policies according to procedures.
- Renewal and Renewal Invites to be done timeously.
- Processing endorsements.
- Must have experiencei in motor and non-motor
- Handling queries from Credit Control department.
- Cancellation of policies.
- Handling queries from brokers - Turnaround time 24 hours
- General correspondence with broker via e-mail, fax or telephone.
- Diarise issues that need to be followed up.
- Ensure filing of closings and schedules according to procedure.
- General office administration.
- Develop relationships with clients and ensure high level of service.
- Assist with underwriting queries internal and external - Turnaround time 24 hours
- Comply with the Commercial Treaty arrangements.
- Ensure all risks are written within our Treaty limits.
- No declined risks are accepted or renewed.
- Ensure knowledge of wordings and exclusions is of a high standard.
- Maintain a quality assurance process that identifies and corrects gaps.
- If required, FAC is placed by negotiating with NNAC.
- Perform all other functions as required or requested, within reason
Educational and Technical Requirements:
- Tertiary Education is an advantage
- Matric / Grade 12 Essential
- FAIS Compliant including all relevant credits and RE5 exam - Non-negotiable
- Technical skills: General knowledge of Commercial and Domestic property, including competitive conditions, insurance operations, regulatory enviornment, reinsurance, underwriting, loss control and industry trends.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Commercial - Non-negotiable
