Accounts Senior (Qualified) with Progression on offer

A well established and growing, smaller firm of accountants based in Bristol has a key requirement for an Accounts Senior (Qualified) with Progression on offer to join their team. You will progress and develop in a very varied role, as akey right hand support to the partners, with all around involvement across accounts, tax, VAT and other wide ranging service provision progressing into a managerial role.

Client Details

Based in Bristol, with additional rare, paid parking benefit on offer, this firm focuses on servicing and building relationships with growing OMBs, SMEs and limited company clients, whilst having a smaller proportion of sole traders, partnerships, charity and other clients around this, but with a real focus on limited companies looking to grow and partner with their accountants. Clients are wide ranging in industry sectors and whilst they have a chunk of construction, building related, engineering, retail and high street independent business, there is a wider spectrum of industry clients around this as well. Typical clients are around £300- 500k in turnover with a few in excess of £1million, with a growing number of start up clients, some of which are developing very positively into good clients. The partners are very hands on with their clients offering a very partner led service, whilst also hands on with the delivery of services as well. They have a close knit team of professionals supporting them demonstrating their hands on approach and they are looking for key, right hand support hire to bolster this team and work closely with them.

Description

Joining their Bristol offices as Accounts Senior (Qualified) with Progression on offer you will initially take on the responsibility to both deliver hands on services across accounts prep, personal and corporate tax, payroll, VAT, management accounts etc to their clients, whilst also developing relationships with clients, looking for someone who has the ability to front the office and act in a client facing capacity and is happy to deal with clients and build relationships. The partners are looking to delegate increasing responsibility, client contact and management in a role where you can carve a key support role to the partners . This will free up their time to focus on further growth of the business and add value to clients with more planning/advisory project work, looking at more forward looking accounting services ,with management accounts/business planning services etc- There would be scope for involvement in this work as well. It offers the chance to carve a really pivotal key role and right hand support, along with genuine potential for you to progress in the medium and longer term in this firm and role.

Profile

You will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified, or suitably experienced only with a career background within the accountancy practice sector and strength within accounts/tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment.

Job Offer

Circa £28,000 - £38,000 dependent on the background, level and experience of the right professional, plus benefits
