Description

As the Credit Risk Controller you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring all Credit limits set are in line with the Credit Policy
• Ensuring you discuss your recommendations with your line manager on any Credit limits that are above your authority
• Setting Credit terms for new customers after all relevant checks have been done
• Consistently reviewing credit terms for existing customers
• Chasing payments via meetings, telephone and email
• Monitoring the Aged Debt report and report findings to line manager
• Reconciling customer accounts when payment is received
• Meeting the targets set by your line manager to the best of your ability

Profile

You must:

• Be fluent in French and one other European language (ESSENTIAL)
• Must be able to comfortably understand and interpret financial statements to advise on credit terms
• Proven previous experience in a varied Credit Control role
• Previous experience collecting from customers in European countries
• Have a confident and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Have the ability to use your own initiative
• Advanced Excel skills ESSENTIAL (PIVOT TABLES/V LOOK UPS)
• SAP
