Finance Business Partner

Ensure that the financial performance of the designated business area is met and or exceeded and complies with the relevant legislative and statutory requirements for financial reporting. Influence and support the senior management in the relevant business area, operating as a member of the senior management team in developing and delivering the strategic objectives.

Our client, a FTSE 250 Facilities Management company with operations in Sussex is looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to support the business unit just outside of Littlehampton.

Description

Reporting to the Lead Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for the financial performance of the site and ensure that all legislative and statutory requirements for financial reporting are met.

You will be expected to provide strong financial business partnering to senior management to ensure that the relevant business area plans, and results are met and or exceeded and complies with the relevant and statutory requirements for financial reporting.

You will ensure sound financial evaluation of project work, acquisitions or any capital expenditure in the relevant business area.

Monitor the performance of the business function against plans, ensuring targets and return on investment are in line with expectations, including the identification of risks and opportunities to meet and exceed delivery.

You will be a strong stakeholder manager and be expected to maintain positive stakeholder relationships in the relevant business area and across the Company as appropriate to ensure that all key stakeholders have the most relevant information as necessary. You will play a key role in contributing to the Company's reporting cycles, including the preparation of management, accounts, budgets, forecasts, papers and presenting financial information where required.

Profile

ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA qualified accountant

Full UK driving licence and be happy to travel to head office (circa 2+ hours drive) weekly/ bi weekly

A self starter who is confident working independently and driving their own performance

Good knowledge of management accounting and business analysis

Strong commercial skills, or previous business partnering experience

Exceptional stakeholder management skills

Experience of working in Facilities Management, Energy or Manufacturing sectors would be advantageous

Job Offer

Up to £45,000 base + car/ car allowance and benefits
