Finance Manager

Purpose of the role
Lead and deliver accounting and financial reporting services within Ventum China to enable and inform Top Management.
Support further development of Ventum China's capabilities & brand by delivering outstanding performance and by creating eminence with the ambition to enhance the reputation of Ventum within the Chinese market and beyond.

Duties
• Ensures compliance with Chinese Accounting and Reporting rules
• Recommends financial actions by analysing accounting options
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Communication with authorities, clients and partners to handle joint financial topics (invoicing, tax, etc.)
• Further development, standardization and documentation of financial processes
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
• Documentation of financial transactions
• Secures financial information by completing data base backups
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements

Education & Technical Background
• Various fields of studies or specializations are applicable
• Bachelor degree mandatory, Master or higher desirable
