Finance Analyst - Receivables

This position works as part of the UK Shared Services department within UK & Ireland, managing the daily operations and risk management of the Company's Accounts Receivable process. The role is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and development of all accounts receivable business functions and procedures Client Details A global market leader based in luxury offices in the Weybridge area with free parking provided and very easy access via public transport. Description The Finance Analyst - Receivables role involves: Business Partner with Brand MDs and Brand Head of sales and their teams to ensure effective information-sharingBusiness Partner with US shared service team developing relationships, Service level agreements and efficient working practicesDevelop systematic process to identify inherent credit risk with new and existing business partnersProactively review and develop clear and timely key performance indicator (KPI) reporting to Shared service manager, International finance Director and UK brand MDs. This should clearly show aged debtors, known credit risks and payment trendsDevelop clear performance targets for all credit analystsBuild good working relationship with corresponding staff at major travel agencies and maintain good general awareness of the major players in the UK businessLiaise with Company's credit insurers to ensure efficiency of cost:benefitEvaluate all processes within the Accounts Receivable area to ensure best practice and efficienciesDevelop programme of self-testing to ensure effective internal controlsEnsure VAT items pertaining to the Accounts Receivable function are properly recorded and refreshed where appropriate Other Supervision and mentoring of five members of staff (only 2 of which are direct reports). Note: previous managerial experience is not essential. Profile The ideal candidate for the Finance Analyst - Receivables role will : Be part qualified / finalist level CIMA/ACCA/ACAHave strong reporting experienceHave strong process improvement experienceHave strong business partner experience (liaising with non Finance teams, and senior Directors, across the business)Have intermediate Excel skills (V look ups, pivot tables)Ideally have Risk Management experience (not essential)Ideally have supervised or managed in a previous role Job Offer The Finance Analyst - Receivables role offers a basic salary of £35-40,000, + company bonus, pension, healthcare, and many other excellent benefits!!
