Group Finance Analyst

The SF Group is currently recruiting for a Group Finance Analyst for a global business in Burton. This business has witnessed a number of years of organic growth, acquisition, international expansion, and consolidation. The Group Finance Analyst will be based in Burton Upon Trent, where the Group Finance function is based. The main purpose of this role will be to provide financial support to the Group Finance Manager and prepare analysis on the group's performance. To assist with the monthly group consolidation and assist in the day to day operations of the group finance function. Key responsibilities will include: Support the group month end consolidation process and analyse and interpret supplementary information to identify trendsPrepare bespoke reports for external stakeholdersSupport the preparation and submission of the UK VAT returns and liaise with HMRC as requiredPrepare and develop strategic reports with detailed analysis of business performance across all areas of the businessSet up of new legal entities as required ensuring appropriate incorporation and registration in accordance with local lawsPreparation of specific month end reconciliations The ideal person for this role would be an ambitious Finance Analyst/Accountant who is looking to join a company where they can develop their skills further and move up the career ladder.
