Management Accountant

The SF Group are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant for a market leading business in Derbyshire. The business is a profitable global business, and offers opportunities to progress both within Derby and also internationally. The Management Accountant position is a newly created role within the Operational Finance team and will give you the opportunity to build relationships across a wide variety of functions within the business and drive financial awareness and understanding. You will be reporting directly into the Financial Controller. Responsibilities: Full production of monthly management accounts including full P&L and Balance SheetManagement of cash flow and cash flow forecasting for reportingSupporting the annual budgeting/forecasting processProviding financial analysis and commentary to act as a business partner acrossDevelopment of month end processes and proceduresExternal reporting requirementsProduction of monthly VAT returnsDeputising for the Financial Controller as required You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with previous experience of working within a Management Accounts. Previous experience within the logistics or distribution sector is desirable but not essential, as long as you can work in a fast paced customer facing environment. You will be hands on, with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders. This role offers excellent exposure across the business as well with external customers.
