Financial Controller/ Finance Manager

The rare opportunity to join this international growing business has arisen for a Financial Controller/ Finance Manager to join the team and be the long term successor for the Finance Director. Reference: HT13653 About The Role As the Financial Controller/ Finance Manager you will be critical within this companies efficient and effective control of the finance function, not only involved with the preparation of the company accounts you will be instrumental in the strategy of the business working with the CEO and FD to grow the business. Within this role your responsibilities will include: Monitor, analyse and forecast financial performance for operational areas of the businessProvide detailed reports and present clear strategic financial analysis to the FD and CEOOversee the production of Management Accounts and Financial statements for the International operationsProvide job costing analysisComplete full month end duties including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepaymentsManage a small finance teamPlus a host of additional ah-hoc duties About Our Client This role is working within an SME international services business that has a turnover in the region of £20M, they operate on a global basis and have transactions in a number of different currencies. About You We are looking for individuals that have strong commercial acumen along with good experiences across all areas of finance from within an International SME environment. We are looking for the following skills, experiences and qualifications: Either a full accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) or Qualified by Experience (QBE) or Part QualifiedInternational company experience including International payments and company accountsManagement Accounts experience including Budgeting and ForecastsSME company experienceGood 'hands-on' attitude with the ability to provide a business partner service across all areas of the company Things You Should Know This role is within an International growing business, it will present the long term opportunity to step up within the business and be key in growing the company.
