Page Personnel are supporting the recruitment of a Finance Manager for a friendly and successful SME leisure business in Conwy. You will be an integral part of the team overseeing the accountancy function on a 12 months fixed term contract during an important period of growth.

You will be joining a small, friendly and hardworking team supporting the day to day accounts function and producing management accounts across the company groups.

Description

They key responsibilities of the Finance Manager:

  • Overseeing the day to day accounting functions including subsidiary companies
  • Producing management accounts in a timely manner
  • Annual budgeting and forecasting
  • Calculating variances
  • Overseeing the transactional finance function, AP,AR
  • Overseeing the payroll processes for permanent and seasonal staff
  • Periodic bank reconciliations
  • Supporting reporting procedures towards the company operations
  • Signing off rental payments & calculations to landlords
  • Calculate financial operating metrics
  • Supporting the management cost reports
  • Adhoc financial analysis toward business decisions and contract negotiations

Profile

The successful finance manager will:

  • Be highly experienced in an all round senior accounts role
  • QBE/Part Qualified/Finalist level welcome
  • Be committed to a 12 month contract
  • A proactive team player comfortable in a relaxed working environment
  • Strong technical finance experience
  • Experience working across company groups and multi-sites
  • Leisure sector experience - desirable
  • Have the ability to work across different sites across North Wales as required by the Finance Director
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
