Interim Management Accountant

Cooper Lomaz have an immediate requirement for an Interim Management Accountant to join our rapidly expanding and leading employer in the Peterborough area on an initial 4 month contract. The role will take ownership for cost centre reporting and will see the successful candidate drive the month end management accounts production to demanding deadlines with quality commentary in support. It is also expected that the post holder will need to business partner with Senior Stakeholders to highlight costs and efficiencies with cost centres. Key responsibilities of the role will include: - Month end Management Accounts production including all variance analysis and commentary - Management of Overhead costs and working with senior management to control these - Supporting of Budgeting and Forecasting Process - Cost Centre Reporting - Ad hoc project support The successful candidate will ideally be immediately available to interview and commence work whilst also committing to the full duration of the project. Candidates will also ideally be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with a proven background in Management accounts. Given the business partnering within the post excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
