My client, operating in the retail & manufacturing industries is a market leader in their field. They have encountered significant growth in recent years & are expanding the finance function to accommodate the increased performance.

Description

This Commercial Accountant role involves significant partnering with the sales team & is responsible for working alongside the senior sales stakeholders to drive continual performance & commercial outcomes.

You will be supporting the ongoing development of pricing strategies including financial modelling to ascertain profitability & support commercial decision making.

You will also be responsible for delivering timely month end reporting & management information.

You'll work alongside the team to deliver long range FP&A activities and making recommendations for improvements off the back of this.

You'll be driving the sales performance on a very regular basis and liaising daily with the sales managers.

Profile

The successful candidate will have a finance focused CV with a background in commercial business partnering & analysis focused roles. While an accountancy qualification is preferred, it's not essential for this position.

Commercial Accountant / analyst / business partnering background strongly preferred.

You will have a strong Excel skill set and a strong analysis & numerical competency.
