Accounts and Audit Senior

A leading National Practice and highly reputable firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Senior to join the team in their Ashby office as a result of continued growth.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA Qualified and will have experience of both Accounts and Audit work in a practice environment as well as the ability to meet with clients regularly and often without supervision whilst managing a delegated portfolio

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for planning and supervising a range of audit and non-audit assignments

Managing Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies

Assisting with the development of junior staff within the team

Responsible for reviewing files and reporting directly to one of the Partner's

Able to demonstrate the ability to add value to client assignments by offering advice that helps with the development of the client's business

Completing Corporation and Personal Tax Compliance

Working directly with clients and personally developing relationships

Skills

ACA/ACCA Qualified essential

At least 2 years' experience of working in a Mixed Audit and Accounts role within a firm of Chartered Accountants essential
