An exciting opportunity is available for an Actuarial Analyst with one of our consulting clients that is based in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:
- Statutory valuations and Embedded Value reporting.
- Product pricing and design.
- ORSAs
- Interact with clients and assisting tenders
- Adhere to quality control procedures
- Performing market studies and research
- Analysis of surplus / AoEV
- Performing investigations
- Managing staff
Requirements:
- 5 years' Life experience preferably in valuations
- Experience with SAM, EV, ORSA, reserving, solvency valuations and pricing
- Experience in Prophet is an advantage
- Strong actuarial technical skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic and highly motivated
- Ability to work to a deadline and give regular feedback on progress
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to international clients from time to time
