Product Owner/ Business Analyst Blackburn Permanent role Circa £40,000

My client in Blackburn are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Product Owner/Business Analyst to join them as they embark on a journey to grow and develop their offerings and expand their organisation.

Alongside the essential experience below, the ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic nature, a drive to learn and develop, and will bring innovative/ creative ways of working to Product Ownership and Business Analysis.

Required Knowledge, Skills and experience

Ideally domain experience in ERP, warehousing or EPOS environment.

Technical background, UX design, SQL skills, Database design fundamentals

Experience of working with offshore teams, particular development team

Experience of working in Agile & Waterfall project approaches

Expereicne with Microsoft Tooling

Driving licence and a willingness to travel to customer sites when required

Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels

Stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels both internally and externally

Experience in 3rd party supplier engagement

Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases and user stories with acceptance criteria

Role Overview - innovative and creative thinking into functional specifications

Functional role to analyse client requirements and build quality solutions that meet the clients expectations.

Work with clients and technical staff during the requirements definition and implementation to finalise requirements and resolve issues

Offer Internal guidance to solution architecture and UX design.

Advise clients on solution offerings, strategy, designs, implementation approaches and alternatives / trade-offs

Ordering Product Backlog items to best achieve goals and missions.

Ensuring the development team understands items in the product backlog.

Represent the customer, interfaces and engage the customer

Identify opportunities for follow-on business
