Finance Team Leader - Dublin West Our client is a large multi-national company in Dublin West. The finance function has undergone significant re-structuring and expansion recently and as a result they are now seeking to hire a Qualified Accountant to join the department as a Finance Team Leader. The Finance Team Leader will be responsible for a wide range of duties and will have oversee the work of up to 10 accounts staff. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a progressive Accountant who would like to join a company that places an emphasis on developing their people. The long term opportunities within the company are excellent as the team continues to grow. The main duties will include: Responsible for closing the General Ledger in a timely and accurate manner at month end. Assist in preparation of management accounts and reporting on variance analysis Oversee the monthly reconciliations process Preparation of statutory accounts Oversee and co-ordinate the billing process for the business Co-ordinate the investment portfolio and banking requirements for the business including liaison with treasury when required Participate in various finance projects as and when required Staff supervision- up to 40 staff The Person: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc) Previous experience in a large organisation essential, ideally with some multi-national experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Previous supervisory experience Knowledge of General Ledger accounting and US GAAP will be an advantage Interested in this position?
