This is an exciting opportunity for an Internal Audit Senior Analyst or Manager to join our Sydney Internal Audit team and gain exposure to Macquarie's Financial Management and Risk Management Groups.

As an Internal Audit Senior Analyst or Manager, you will participate in or lead assessments of the quality and effectiveness of the internal control framework, risk management and governance systems. You will partner with the broader risk management team from across the group in contributing to the continual improvement of the overarching risk management framework.

The role will include coverage of finance and accounting related risks, corporate governance, Australian prudential audits including capital related prudential audits, and compliance risks. Key to your success will be prior experience in Internal Audit and direct exposure to financial services businesses. Relevant experience will be also considered from an external audit, risk management or consulting environment. A strong grasp of internal audit methodology is necessary.

You will have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to liaise with and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Whilst the role is based in Sydney, you would be joining an internal audit team that is represented in New York, London, Singapore, Sydney, Hong Kong and India. Travel may be required as our business units are also represented across the globe.
