The MIL Corporation seeks an IT Audit Specialist with technical experience in internal controls, compliance, and auditing in order to support OMB A–123 compliance for a Federal Government client at our offices located in Washington, DC and Tysons Corner, VA.

  • Support OMB A–123 internal controls assessments.
  • Perform audit procedures in order to assess information system controls in areas of information assurance, system management, access control, configuration management, change control, and contingency planning/disaster recovery.
  • Evaluate and test internal controls at the entity level, process level, and transaction level.
  • Report findings in order to provide recommendations and develop corrective action plans.

Required Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience with internal controls, compliance, and audit, specifically FISCAM.
  • Knowledgeable of NIST 800– 53, Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems and Organizations.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

BA/BS degree in computer science, accounting or other technical fields
