Management Accountant

The role of the management accountant is to manage a small team of accounts and payroll staff. They will be responsible for the overheads of all departments within the company and assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and forecasts

Description

The successful candidate would be responsible for the following;

• The management of small finance team

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and month end bank reconciliations

• Annual budget and monthly forecast

• Business partnering with the relevant managers across departments

• Continuous improvement of current finance processes

• Assisting with the external audit and preparation of statutory accounts

• Reports directly into the Finance Director

Profile

The successful candidate should possess the following;

• An ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification or is qualified by experience

• Experience within the manufacturing industry

• a number of years' experience within similar management accounting positions

• Strong Forecasting and Budgeting experience

• Solutions focused attitude towards work

• Keen to drive positive change in work
