• Support new business development; be involved in preparing proposals to prospective clients and obtaining internal approvals
• Originate and deliver transaction ideas, identifying opportunities, opening and leveraging relationships
• Support / lead multiple projects and transactions at any given time
• Project manage the transactions, driving the transaction timetable, ensuring quality on client deliverable, as well as managing counterparties and other advisers to ensure transaction milestones are met
• Actively participate in the deal process including preparing the transaction documents (e.g., Teaser, Information Memorandum, process letters, offer letters), contacting and follow up other offices and targets/investors, responding to queries, etc.
• Understanding the key business drivers, identifying key issues and risks / conclusions and providing value to the client through insights, factual conclusions and advice
• Actively participate at meetings with clients including targets and other advisers throughout the transaction process
• Take responsibility for own learning and development, provide coaching to others, and participate in upward feedback
• Understand and manage the transaction risks from the client's and firm's perspective
• Lead, develop and counsel junior colleagues, share your technical and other knowledge, and take an active role in the growth and development of the whole team
• Build and expand networks whilst developing personal brand and shaping high performing teams to deliver exceptional client experience.
