The opportunity
We are looking for a junior-mid level Graphic & Web Designer on a full-time basis to join the small yet mighty Design & Marketing Community Impact team based in Sydney who are responsible for the visual branding and design that brings the work we do to life. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with well-known brands that span large corporations, not-for-profits and government departments.
With the mission of delivering shared value by creating positive social impact, the Community Impact Services team partners with our clients to develop and run educational behaviour change programs in the community.
Your key responsibilities
- Graphic design of program collateral including; engaging workshop presentations, promotional materials, and any other assets required for program delivery
- Supporting the Business Development team through visual design of client facing documents and reports
- Creating dynamic data visualisations (i.e. infographics)
- Design and ongoing maintenance of program websites (HTML, CSS, WordPress)
- Demonstrating a user-centered approach to digital designs
- Supporting the creation of interactive digital content (i.e. apps & games)
Skills and attributes for success
- Tertiary qualification or relevant experience in Visual/Graphic Design (or related discipline)
- Minimum 1-2 years' graphic or visual design experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experience working with HTML, CSS and WordPress
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written and visual)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to proof your work to a high standard
- Creative mind who loves to collaborate and brainstorm in a team environment
Ideally, you'll also have
- Experience working in a fast-paced, creative agency environment
- Video editing capability
- Experience working with animation software
