I am currently working alongside a world known Pharmaceutical brand based just outside of Cambridge. The organisation, which is part of a larger group, is looking to embark on many future developments. They are looking to expand their analytical team due to organic growth and are currently looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant to develop within the business for future responsibilities.

My client is a major player within the Pharmatech world. The organisation has extensive plans to improve the business through innovation and process improvement - hence the requirement to hire the right candidate for this Financial Planning and Analysis role.

Description

As the Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Ownership and population of the Budget and Quarterly Forecast models

  • Working with the operational teams to challenge and refine their budget/ forecasts

  • Working with the divisional finance team to validate and finalise budget/ forecasts

  • Provide insightful analysis of the final budget/ forecast numbers and assumptions

  • Regular KPI & Dashboard reporting

  • Running established reports

  • Developing new reports

  • Improving current reports

  • Cost Analysis

  • Ad hoc Reporting as required

  • Finance Project Support

    • Profile

    The successful Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant will have:

    • ACA, ACCA, CIMA
    • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities

    • Experience of handling large volumes of data within excel

    • Flexibility to changing demands

    • A diplomatic approach with an aptitude for creative reasoning
    • Strong communication skills and team focus

    Job Offer

    £35,000-£45,000 + Bens
