Assistant Financial Accountant

An exciting Assistant Financial Accountant vacancy is available based in Ellesmere Port for a large, international manufacturing business on a temporary - permanent basis.

Description

Reporting to the UK Finance Manager, your duties as Assistant Financial Accountant will include:

• Reconciliation of general ledger transactions within set deadlines

• Balance sheet reconciliations and revaluing all month end bank accounts

• Maintaining the cash book and posting journals

• Monthly currency bank and loan accounts revaluations to support the consolidation of the company's accounts

• Bank payments and processing payments

• Reporting on cash position

Profile

This is a highly technical role so a strong attention to detail is imperative. The key skills and experience you must have, in order to be considered for the Assistant Financial Accountant role, are:

• Part qualified CIMA / ACCA

• Strong reconciliations experience, dealing with a large volume of transactions

• SAP knowledge

• Advanced Excel

• Able to work as part of a team and is adaptable with an open approach to change

• Excellent communication skills are important as well as being well organised and diligent in your approach
