Financial Accountant - Immediate Start

Immediate start - Financial Accountant - Not for Profit

The role is responsible for various corporate and management accounting functions including managing month end accounting and close, management reporting, preparing costings and quotes for individualised funding, contract management and income recognition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely periodic financial management statements including commercial control and reporting of Local and Regional income and expenditure
• Monthly review of income and expenditure, and reconciliation of general ledger balance sheet accounts
• Assist Business Analyst with monthly variance reporting for monthly finance meetings
• Assist with Debtors management and following up on funding receivables
• Manage the month end and year end accounting process
• Preparing monthly non-standard journals and invoices that require business content
• Assist Finance Business Analyst with developing state budget and forecasting plan and timelines
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting processes

About you:

• You will be CA/CPA/ACCA Qualified
• You will have 5+ years in a similar role
• You will be a strong values based professional
• You will be available to start ASAP
• You will have experience in Not for Profit. NDIS experience is desirable
