Description
Lead the development of accounting processes, support China Controlling team to deliver an optimized, efficient and effective RTR, PTP, OTC, Cash & Banking, T& E processes.
Robust engagement with business, Finance Transformation Organizations, Regional Internal Control, GBS Organizations, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment on standardized operational processes and internal policies, deployment of effective controls in local processes and systems
Work in collaboration with shared service vendors to ensure accounting processes KPI targets are achieved.
Support the maintenance of a robust accounting processes and systems with good risk management capabilities
Support other finance services/ finance transformation projects as the need arises.
Work with Controlling Leadership team to motivate and develop team with sound technical capabilities and desired team behavioral attributes as an integral component of the Controlling and the wider Finance community.
Profile
Strong background in finance operations and compliance mindset
Conversant with China financial sector regulations and a good working knowledge financial of US GAAP and PRC GAAP
Strong strategic/critical thinking and forward-looking ability
Ability to work across and within a complex matrix global organization structure
Must be able to work independently with a high degree of personal accountability
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders in the organization
Unquestionable ethics and integrity
Willing to change
Minimum of 10 years of experience in related fields of financial accounting and reporting, auditing, internal controls & compliance.
Big 4 Accounting firms and/ or large MNC experience.
Project Management and Six Sigma experience will be added advantage.
Written and spoken fluency in English and Mandarin
