Assistant Accountant

The Role

As you will be required to join the existing finance team to really drive robust financial control and improved management information.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Management accounts preparation - journal writing and posting, production of detailed working papers to support the month-end process for review

· Attend Centres on a routine basis for meetings with Centre Financial Controllers and Centre Management· Detailed expense analysis for Centre management and Centre Financial Controller

· Monthly car profit reconciliation

· Monitor parts stock obsolescence provision

· Provide cover for the monthly completion of centers ASE - key performance indicator reporting tool

· General Vehicle Stock Book maintenance - i.e. status of vehicles, unreceived costs, estimated versus actuals and to work with CFC and Sales Admin to ensure that VSB is up to date

· Congestion charge administration - control system access and reconciliation of registered vehicles to our demo and service loan stocks

· Prepare adhoc expense analysis for the Centre Financial Controllers

· Preparation of Weekly Performance Reports for Service, Parts and Warranty

· Preparation of Centre commission and bonus packs

· Support and assist the purchase ledger - review of Centre invoices and N/L coding. These roles are very varied and would enable someone to build an exciting career with a growing business. This organisation has a number of flagship sponsorship deals and is every visible in the UK.

Your Profile

Salary & Benefits
