Financial Controller-Trading Finance

My client a global Investment bank are seeing to hire a high calibre senior manager on a permanent basis. Key duties of the role will include: Input into New Product ApprovalsBalance Sheet and P&L classification for direct businesses supported - including month end reviews and GL reconciliation/substantiationMonthly deliverables to Central Trading Finance team including Statutory Balance Sheet/P&L commentaryReporting deliverables to Corporate Centre (including Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Regulatory and Financial) - both regular and ad-hoc in natureMaintenance and implementation of Transfer Pricing calculationsImplementation of the financial control framework including Business Unit specific modificationsMonthly assistance to non-integrated subsidiaries (including Legal Entity Control responsibilities)Regional support for the EMEA based Commodities and Global Markets Businesses About you ACCA/CA/CPA qualifiedExperience in financial markets and products and applying accounting knowledgeAbility to develop and manage relationships with management, traders, settlements and finance staffConfident and articulate communicator, with strong attention to detailStrong client service skills, and control/ risk awarenessAble to prioritise and manage multiple and competing deadlines faced by the teamAble to work with team members across geographiesPossess a keen service ethicBe self-motivated, proactive and inquisitiveAchievement / results orientated and able to work under pressure
